Pip Feels: Scared, Calm, Jealous and Excited

Some children find it difficult to deal with their emotions which can lead to habitual urges such as excessive thumb and finger sucking or Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours such as Skin Biting or Compulsive Hair Pulling.  

The wonderful author Bec Barnes uses rhyme supported by cute and insightful illustrations to bring four emotions to life: Scared, Calm, Jealous and Excited. In doing so it can help a child understand and express why they feel the way they do - and most importantly know they are not alone and it is ok to have these feelings.

We recommend these books for younger children over the age of 4 years old who may find situations in school, the playground or with friends difficult to understand and express. It helps both the child as well as the adult to relate and understand their emotions and hopefully release signs of stress and anxiety arising from some of those. 

Pip Feels Calm also hints to practical actions that can be easily used at home and out in nature to promote a calmer mind.

Gloves: Can be machine washed with similar colours at 30c or 40c and is tumble dry safe. At higher temperatures might lose some of it's colour.
